Every now and then I get days off that are completely open to life. No plans. They're nice I must say. I often call up friends for random shopping or eating adventures. And, if you know me at all, I typically have my camera bag in tow as well.
A few weeks ago, I called up a friend, Colleen, that just got out of a business event to have dinner and, lo and behold, her business attire was a 10. Solid. If she were a lawyer by dress alone, you wouldn't mess with her.
Given that we had some time to kill before dinner we decided to walk along the levee in Newport while the sun was still setting. Using the wonderful hues of the aquarium to contrast her blouse and the Cincinnati skyline as a great booked backdrop, the setting gave the images just the right amount of color and depth.
We wrapped the impromptu shoot after 10 minutes, which was nice since both of us worked up an appetite. Burgers and tater tots were only a few feet away.
